6 of Four

I love it when our past brides and grooms start their families and come back to us for portraits. It’s such a joy to see their new life starting together. Josh and Jenn had a busy year with a wedding, trip to Egypt, surgery, pregnancy and now a premie! What a year it has been. I’m so glad to see them is this new role as parents. It seems to be suiting them perfectly. Jenn’s parents were in town and I loved that we were able to get some pictures of Adler with them. This is their first grandchild and they are absolutely smitten! So sweet.

Jenn is such a great mother. She is calm and relaxed. I admired how in control and content she is with this new addition.

Adler had a rough night before I arrived. He decided to catch up on his sleep while I was there. It worked perfectly for me….maybe not so much for Jenn and Josh the night before though.

I love the hands of a mother. So graceful and strong.

Now here we have a grandmother’s hands surrounding this beautiful new babe. Such stories are written on her hands and I love how Adler is completely secure in her.
