It would be near impossible to fully explain and describe Jay and Mira’s wedding in Orlando at the end of last month. Regis, Chris and I were talking on the way home how we can learn from everyone we come in contact with in our company. If we were to take anything from the Mistry and Gohil family it would be acceptance and hospitality. By the end of the wedding we felt like we were a part of the family. They are amazing people and taught us so much in just two days…love, devotion, acceptance, hospitality, commitment and honor.
There was a wonderful evening the night before. We may be able to post some of those pictures later this month.
The pictures below are a collaboration between the three of us and I loved seeing each perspective. It truly gave the day a full perspective coverage. Enjoy looking through the wedding of Jay and Mira.

Mira and Jay are a beautiful couple and your photos give a wonderful sense of feeling of the love they shares for each other and their family and friends. I know that they will be so grateful to you for capturing such beautiful and unique moments that they can cherish for a lifetime.
I wish I could have been there for this beautiful wedding. With your photos you were able to tell a story of the rich culture and traditions of a lovely Hindu wedding celebration. I love the photos of Mira’s hands with the ancient ritual of Mehendi. I was so moved by your sharing of this beautiful story. Your love and passion for your work shows in each picture you take and the way you capture breathtaking details are awesome. I love seeing your beautiful work and this wedding was what I call an OOOMYGOODNESS wedding!!!!! Thanks for sending the photos to me. Love to see more.
A feast for my senses! Beautiful!
oh my goodness – what an amazing wedding – your imagery is just stunning! I hope you are both doing great!!!
This wedding looks amazing! I love learning about different cultures, customs, and traditions and this looks like an awesome learning experience. The pictures are fabulous. The pictures make me feel like I missed an awesome experience. And of course the colors are so vibrant. I love it! Great work!
It’s so great to relive the wedding through all these images. I know that Indian weddings are longer than a traditional wedding. But I was kind of sad when it ended. I wanted it to go on… just at least one more day.
I agree. Jay and Mira are a special couple and their family and friends are just so gracious. If I had stopped and accepted every one of their family/friend’s offer to eat, then this would have been the first time that I actually gain weight after shooting a wedding
Thanks Katie and Chris for having me along. What a thrill.
So gorgeous – the people, the colors, the details! So much to look. Fantastic job capturing it all.
Katie and Chris, these are beautiful! You know I’m a big fan, but you’ve outdone yourselves on this one.
