Our friends Brandy J and Sticky are in town with work and we were able to see them last night. We decided to get together and surprise Joy (along with Garrett’s help) with a special dinner honoring her and the baby that is coming in a few weeks. We made a yummy Thai meal and then ended with dessert from sweet-pockets (a personal favorite!) Joy and Garrett are so important to us and are dear friends to us and Brandy and Sticky. It was an honor to treat them. We can’t wait to meet the new little Nudd!

looks like great times! I can’t wait to hang out with the southern folks one day. 🙂

We are constantly working to have our weddings published in a variety of magazines. It’s been a great winter of publications and we love to see our work in their pages. The Atlantan Brides just came out with their 1st Anniversary Issue. We are excited to be in this wonderful magazine and to be able to work closely with Modern Luxury. If you would like your own copy feel free to contact us and let us know!

An Afternoon of Bridal Luxury was a wonderful event that The Atlantan Brides put on last fall for brides in the area. It was the perfect afternoon for any bride to gain inspiration and ideas for her wedding while being pampered. We were honored to document the event and below are pictures and an article about the day.

Mariam and Graeme will be married this year and one of their engagement pictures was featured in the article about engagement sessions. The Atlantan Brides interviewed us about how we approach our engagement sessions and choosing the right spots for the couples. They are the picture on the right above the section titled: Engaging Photos.

Wendy and Alex’s wedding from last June was a feature wedding. They were married at Second Ponce de Leon Baptist Church, Portraits at The Swan House and reception at The Atlanta History Center.

Congrats! That’s great! Get ready to get more work!! 🙂 Im so lucky this MD bride has you guys!

So often we are too busy to make a priority to spend time with friends in my life. It’s easy to get busy and focused on work. I loved the holidays because Chris and I were really able to pour into our friends and family like no other time of the year. It was such a joy and a wonderful way to end the year. We were reminded again just how amazingly blessed we are to have them all in our lives.

We were able to meet up with some of my college friends. We all studied fine art together and spent many long hours in dark rooms side by side…sometimes flooding it. 🙂 These are great memories and we were able to relive a lot of them. Buddy and Carrie (the two on the left) now live in Germany and are expecting their first child. Buddy is an Art Director for the Air Force. Jerrod is in the middle and is running his own photography business in Alabama. Lexie is now married and has an eight month old. Also pursuing her career in art. Then Chris and I are on the end…and well you know what we’ve been up to.

It’s great to get together with friends and seeing them pursue their life dreams and passions. We are so happy with where our lives have lead!
