Months ago I received an email from London from an extremely kind and polite man named Tayo. He began to tell me of his plans to propose to his girlfriend Rosemary. He planned every detail out and wanting to make sure she was surprised. She lives in Chattanooga and he flew in to propose to her last weekend. I was actually there for the proposal and to see all of the plans unfold. It never ceases to amaze me how my camera serves as my passport into the most private moments in a person’s life. After the proposal we went to the streets of Atlanta for some pictures of the two of them together. You can enjoy them below. Congratulations Rosemary, you definitely have a good man.

Like I said, he planned everything perfectly. : )

Oh my God that is so sweet and so touching. My sister works with Tayo at Dagenam Council and she always talked about Tayo. how decent he is, how polite he is, God fearing, humble, focused, sweet, caring and very thoughtful. i was so eager to meet this guy. but we never met. he use to talk about his gal friend in America so much to Jude and the plans and all that. He touched ma heart so much and i can assure that he is highly favoured. Tayo u re so sweet and deserve the best of life. your life should be example for other young guys. Congratulations! The journey will be smooth and the roads free.

Rachel booked us a year ago, but has talked to us about documenting her wedding way before that. So when the day finally came we could not have been happier to be there for her. It was such a celebration and a time of worship for them and their families and friends. It was a fun crowd and although it was still quite warm in Frost Chapel, it did cool off some by the time their 7 pm wedding arrived. As most of you know, Chris and I were also married at Frost and love being there any time we can. It always brings back such memories and we’ll actually be there again next week!

This is easily my favorite image of the day. She was heading out front for some more pictures and I followed behind her to capture this. I love the light in Frost.

The excitement was all around as the wedding party prepared to walk down the isle.

The ceremony started out with hymms that the entire congregation sang. It was a beautiful time before Rachel walked down the isle.

They also included a time of prayer where all four parents came up and prayed over them.

After the ceremony everyone gathered on the stone patio outside of Frost. It was a tender time of hugs and excitement. This image represents the most important part of our job. It’s documenting those relationships that are most treasured and could be gone soon. Rachel’s grandparents were treated with such care and respect. I love watching how families treat their elders.

    Beautiful pics guys!

On Sunday, The Atlantan Brides hosted an event I Will to I Do, Afternoon of Bridal Luxury, that was sponsored by Bold American Catering, Paces Papers, Ashley Baber Weddings and yours truly. We always love anytime to be with our amazing industry, but we especially loved documenting this event. We especially enjoy how it had the style of elegance, and luxury, throughout the King Plow Art Center. Brides came to learn about trends and offerings as they plan their weddings. They were able to talk with other brides and vendors as they envisioned their day. Thank you to The Atlantan Brides for including us in such a wonderful event.
