We have had a wonderful run of weddings this season so far and this Indian/Christian Wedding is no exception. We traveled to Columbus to capture the union of Bella and Matt. I had also enjoyed capturing their love during their engagement session back in October.

It was a pleasure capturing how they blended their two families and cultures in this day to become one family. They started the day with the Indian Ceremony out at Green Island Country Club. There their families and guest came together as the priest talked about coming together as one. Everyone enjoyed the ceremony and they were surrounded with the beautiful decor by the talented Shushil with Utopian Events.

Later that afternoon we moved over to the Hilton Garden Inn, where the Christian ceremony on the greens. The decor was simple but elegant. It was evident how Matt truly loves his bride. How he looks over her and holds her hand tightly.

The reception took place back over at the Green Island Country Club where the room was beautifully staged and lit. Their friends had a wonderful time celebrating the union and the party went on through the night. Bella and Matt, we had a wonderful time being part of a day that witness the merging of your two beautiful cultures. Thank you for the honor and pleasure!

We’ve known Sapna and Vijay since Sapna’s sister Rajul’s wedding last year in Savannah. We were thrilled to receive an inquiry to document their wedding in Aruba. Their family is brings a smile to our face as we think about them. They always make us feel welcome and treat us like family and not just a vendor. We felt deeply connected to them as they celebrated this wonderful time in Sapna and Vijay’s lives. It was an honor to be included.

They chose the island of Aruba to have as the backdrop to their wedding day. The weather was perfect and we were provided with nice trade winds to offset the heat. They complied an incredible team of vendors to bring their day together. Links to all of their websites are below.

With over two days of constant coverage we can’t tell a complete story of their day on the blog. However, we did want to highlight a several of our favorite moments.

Love these images. Great work guys!

We traveled from Atlanta to Cashiers, North Carolina for the wedding of Jeannie and Jimmy. Their wedding took place at the beautiful High Hampton Inn. Nestled in the North Carolina mountains. The couple chose this location because of the stunning view of White Side Mountain from the ceremony location.

We began the day with small rain showers, but it did not dampen the spirits of the wedding at all. There was a beautiful turn of events, just minutes before the ceremony was to start, the sun came. There were blue skies with full white clouds overhead. It was just perfect!

The flowers and decor for this wedding were created by Kirk Moore and his team at Oakleaf from Old Edwards Inn, in Highlands. They always do a wonderful job creating fresh beautiful arrangements for all of their weddings.

It was neat to see the bride and groom and their relationships with their siblings. I love the two photographs below; of Jimmy as his sister helps him with his cufflinks and Jeannie as her sister helps with her veil.

We hope you enjoy these photographs and the story they tell. Jeannie and Jimmy, thank you for including us to capture your special union. It was an honor.
