Josh and Katie are close friends to Chris and me. We just adore their family. Katie and I were pregnant at the same time. Rosemary and Ollie are just a month apart. So we’ve walked this road of parenthood together and our friendship has grown so much in the process. We’ve been through the good times and hard times together. Our lives would not be near as rich if they were not in it.
We love this little family so much and wanted to share their sweet times with you.

Sharon and Heath are the kind of couple that you walk away from saying “wow, they are so nice”. They were incredibly thoughtful and gentle in their interactions with us and their guests and it was beautiful to see how much thought and detail they put into their day at Fox Hall. It was our first time documenting a wedding here and we fell in love with all the wonderful light and locations for portraits. We were thrilled with the gorgeous weather before hard rains the following day. It was certainly a day to be celebrated and lived to it’s fullest.
Bold American was there to do the decor and, as always, they did a great job. One of the many precious details noticed were the canning jars that signified the farming backgrounds in each of the families being joined together. Sharon’s dad made the arbor out of trees from his sister’s land. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a dessert reception in which each dessert exemplified a family member’s favorite.
It was the perfect late summer wedding and we were so happy for this beautiful couple.

I loved both of these equally and couldn’t pick which one to share. Sharon has such a calming beauty and it paired so well with the grace of the horse.

We have some couples that want to see each other beforehand. We personally love this as it gives us more time to capture their portraits together. I think this series of photographs tells such a precious story as they enjoyed their moment together.

Oh this sweet girl is full of giggles almost every moment of the day. She finds such joy in life and reminds us to do the same. Her personality continues to unfold and we could not be more in love with her.
She’s still crawling all over at a rapid speed, waving bye bye, giving sweet kisses, eating wonderfully, singing, blubbering, clapping and loving everyone she meets.
