Today is Chris’ birthday. I finally managed to get him out of the office for long enough for me to make a Happy Birthday post. 🙂 We’ve been working constantly lately (no surprise there) and I’m looking forward to a celebration weekend. We are about to head out to lunch at West Egg (hopefully the line won’t be too long to deal with). Then we’ll be heading out to my family’s in Dallas and Chris gets to go flyfishing while the women whip up a party for him. Tomorrow we plan to have a early blueberry picking morning and then head to church back in Decatur. We’ll be ending the weekend by just spending time together….having some fun in the city. We are not sure yet, but that is actually nice to play it by ear.

Chris is such an amazing man and anyone who has ever been in contact with him knows that. He’s an open book, completely generous, a servant to all and not to mention the fun social butterfly. We love spending every day together and I’m so glad to be able to be married to a man that shares the same passions in life as I do. It gives us something to daily be striving for together. I get to spend everyday with him as my best friend.

Meghan Coffee – hands down, Meghan dominates my iTunes love. Chris knows when I am having a bad day to bring me a glass of wine, my favorite dark chocolate and then he tells me to turn on Meghan. I love it. He knows me so well. Meghan is truly amazingly gifted and I admire her passion for her art. She just so happens to be the girlfriend to the incredible Zack Arias as well. What an great duo. Thank you Meghan for comforting me with your songs. I know you are going to be amazing on tour and we are proud of your accomplishments!

Tonight Chis and I spoke at the Atlanta PUG. We had a great turn out of about 20 people and loved sharing with everyone about our journey and recapture. We even showed images for our first humble site. : ) Thank you for everyone that turned out for the fun and for Jenn who asked us to come!
