After flying back from Orlando, I headed to Asheville on Sunday for Anna’s shower. Anna is my brother Ben’s fiancé and they will be married later in June. Maggie (my brother Charlie’s fiancé who will marry in December) along with my sister Elizabeth and I drove up on Sunday morning.

It was fun to be at the shower and see all of us four girls together with out the guys. Our family is now complete with spouses, now there are only children to come. We are so excited for Maggie and Anna. We could not be happier with both of our brother’s choices. They did a great job finding wonderful women!

This past weekend we were in Orlando. Jenn and Will were so great together. We had a wonderful time with them. We knew Jenn when she used to live in Georgia. She returned home to where she grew up in Orlando. There she met Will and fell in love. We are so happy for both of them and we were glad they chose us to be a part of their day.

Here are some fun pictures from their day.

Some fun getting ready and detail pictures.

How adorable are these little girls??

This precious little Adair. You can see her little sister, brother and parents in the background. Chris was taking a picture of her parents while I was taking this one of her whole family.

Thanks for a wonderful day. Have fun on your cruise!!!

Or so they say. Due to the wild fires in South Georgia, there is a lot of floating smoke. Last week we arrived to a very smoky Albany, Georgia with the news that on the FL/GA border they had closed I-10 and I-75. This prevented some guest from arriving to the wedding. It then cleared out with rain that night and on Sunday it was clear. We are in Orlando now for another wedding and the smoke is here as well. With low humidity being forecasted, it doesn’t look like it will be going anywhere. It is not as strong as it was in Albany, but it is present. It’s amazing how these fires are effecting such a wide area.

I’m choosing to think that the smoke is following the beautiful weddings that we have been capturing. I’m going to be the optimist on board. 🙂 We just thought this was interesting and wanted to share. Next week we’ll be in Saint Simons Island off the coast of Georgia…do you think it will go further east next?
