I can barely imagine how much more fun it would be to have planned our wedding with Etsy. Etsy was not around when we were married. Half of me thinks that is a very good thing and the other half so wishes it was there to add such unique details to the day. I stumbled upon the store WOOD & GRAIN recently. I thought it would be a perfect one to highlight for our brides that are still planning details. I’m going to try to keep giving you blogs and shops to find fun details for your day.

Molly and John were married on a perfect Cashiers, North Carolina day. The weather and ambiance were wonderful for a wedding at The Chattooga Club. This was my first visit to The Chattooga Club and I was taken away by the atmosphere and beautiful setting.

Molly and John were a pleasure to work with and the love and connection they hold for one another was clearly evident. To see Molly’s tender heart for her family was a such a joy to capture. After the couple enjoyed a lovely reception they used floating luminaries, in the night sky, as the backdrop for their exit. It was a perfect ending to a beautiful celebration.

Molly and John, thank you for the honor of documenting your day. I wish you both the best in your future together!

We were thrilled when Meredith and Ryan’s day finally arrived! I have been in contact with Meredith and her mom for some time and to see the day, and all the planning they put into it, come to fruition was truly exciting. The weather for their wedding was absolutely perfect and on this sunny warm day, in Athens, we were also welcomed by a refreshing breeze.

Meeting Ryan that weekend, and seeing the couple together, made it clear why these two decided to spend the rest of their lives together. Ryan is such a genuinely nice guy. He made us feel welcomed and truly part of the wedding rather than just another vendor. That means a lot as we value and cherish each of the relationships and couples that we have the honor to document.
