I am really excited about all of our couples this year. They all continue to have the same love and excitement for us to document at their wedding. They realize the value of capturing their legacy as many fantastic couples before them.

Anita and Greg’s wedding is coming up next month as our first Indian wedding of the year in Savannah, Georgia. The event is going to carefully planned by the talent of Rève.ology Events with Snehal Vara as the lead.

I had a great time capturing this season in their life. The location is one of my favorite parks in Atlanta, away from the crowds of Piedmont Park, at Grant Park. Grant Park is Atlanta’s oldest park and is home to Zoo Atlanta. We had a fun time braving the cold.

Enjoy the love!

Our first wedding of the year proved to be among one of our favorites. There are some clients that when you first meet them you know immediately they are going to be fantastic to work with. My meeting with Courtney, long before the wedding, proved just that. Courtney Giles is a fabulous interior designer based here in Atlanta. She was selected by Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles as part of their “10 Under 40 – Atlanta’s New Tastemakers”. She has impeccable taste and as down to earth as they come!

We started at Courtney’s townhouse as she was putting on the finishing touches before heading to the church. As I suspected of an interior decorator, her home was quite lovely. We later arrived at at the church on perhaps the coldest day for the month of February. Courtney look stunning in her Monique Lhuillier gown which was accented with Jimmy Choo shoes. Chris then arrived from the Intercontinental Buckhead dressed ready to meet his bride. The ceremony took place in the church’s smaller chapel as they only invited their family making it quite intimate.

Their reception was a wonderful affair with friends and family from all over. It took place at Summerour Studio. Bold Events and Design created a wonderful atmosphere, as they always do and I had a great time documenting all their exquisite details. Papa Soul was on hand to put on a fantastic show for the guest to enjoy. The guest were on their feet dancing all night! All of this could not have been made possible without the fine direction of the fabulous Susan Graham. I love a well organized event and Susan provided just that and more! If you are remotely considering a coordinator and event planner then you must. It will help you to know that the day is taken care of and under the specific direction of one that has the experience needed for a flawless day. That is the reason we love working with Susan.

Chris & Courtney it was an honor to be a part of your day. It was surely a beautiful day that we had the joy to be a part of! Thank you.

This is just a little post for a personal life update. We are doing great and enjoying the mild winter. Of course, we’d love snow, but we are trying to enjoy the weather that lets us get out and play more. Rosemary is overwhelming us with her continually budding personality, increased vocabulary and love she has to share. She is truly the light of our daily lives.

We also found out that she will be having a baby brother in July. We are so excited to see that dynamic and their sweet relationship form.

We had a fun lunch date out yesterday and took a few pictures of her afterwards. We thought we’d share a few of them with you.

Enjoy!

I cannot believe how big she is getting! So precious and turning into a little girl and not a baby anymore!
