Sunday, October 23 (afternoon available)

Saturday, November 19 (Our sessions will be rescheduled due to rain on this day.)

With the promise of cool fall weather, we are excited to be offering Fall Mini Sessions. 6 of Four’s Lil’ Bird Mini Sessions are just that. They are a mini version of the sessions you have come to know and love from us. They are the perfect way to supplement your normal sessions with 6 of Four as a yearly tradition and a way to have a seasonal image for your Holiday Card.

Fall Mini Sessions are $195 and last for 15 – 20 minutes. They are for 1 – 3 children and their parents. If you have more than 3 children we suggest booking two mini sessions back to back or scheduling us for a normal Lil’ Bird Session. We will be located at Grant Park to capture the crisp color of the season.

Your 10 – 15 finished images from your session will be available at your in-home ordering session. One 8×10 will be included in your session fee. At this time you will have the opportunity to order your gift prints, wall framed prints, albums, canvas wraps, folios and Holiday Cards.

Please email the studio at info@6offour.com with your preferred date and time. We will promptly reply to you and schedule your session based on availability. We look forward to seeing you this fall!

Our first wedding in Highlands this summer kicked off to a wonderful start. Laura and Andy have had quite an adventure getting to this day. To say that this day was much anticipated by all would really be an understatement as they really took time and careful thought into their lives together and what marriage truly meant to them.

Once again we are honored to be documenting weddings at Old Edwards Inn, as their staff and its venues are one of the best, well managed and beautiful that we have ever been a part of. Nestled just outside of the Nantahala National Forest, the greens are always lush and summers are a pleasant time of year. Not to mention, Highlands is considered one of only places in the continental United States as a rainforest, with average annual rainfalls over 86 inches. With that said, there is always a thought that it may rain on any given wedding day.

The day started wonderfully and as we neared the time for bridal and wedding party portraits the heavens opened up and it just poured. Seems as if the rain came out of no where! But within the hour it cleared up again, cooling off for a pleasant ceremony. The florals for Laura’s bouquet and Andy’s boutonniere were just stunning, as always, because of the talent of Kirk at Oakleaf! The day was coordinated and families cared for by Allison, with WNC Weddings, through the rain and sunlight.

The Reception was a fantastic social time with friends and family coming together to celebrate this marriage. The menu was crafted, with the help of the bride, by Executive Chef Johannes Klapdohr and was enjoyed by all! Old Edward’s new pavilion is absolutely beautiful! With large, full windows and solid timber lining the ceiling; it truly brings the western North Carolina mountains to these weddings. The band Right On, kept everyone on their feet and moving all night as well!

Laura and Andy, it was quite an honor to be a part of your day and know that our heirloom photographs will be a family treasure for your lifetime to come as husband and wife. Thank you and congratulations!

Charlotte is Rosemary’s little friend and her mommy is my friend. We love seeing them play together. The older they become the less obvious the 8 months a part in age seems. We just adore this little family and of course have loved the pictures that Jenny has taken of our very own family. She is so very talented and a treasure of a friend. Enjoy seeing the pictures of this sweet family not only celebrating a one year old but also celebrating the one year mark of them being a family.
