Les and Elana were such a sweet couple. Something I noticed is that they went to each table and greeted every guest. They made sure to make every person welcomed and appreciated for coming. Not every couple does this and I think it says a lot about how they value the people in their life. Both families were there supporting and encouraging the couple and had a wonderful time celebrating this new union.

Darryl Wiseman was the mastermind behind the florals, The Four Seasons hosted the event, catered and made the cake, Peachtree Christian Church was where the ceremony took place.

Enjoy the images from the day.

The programs to give you a hint of the wedding colors. So calming.

Elana’s father and brother restored this 1930 Model A Ford car in less than a year for the grand exit. They were even finishing the details just the day before. They did a wonderful job in the resemblance to the Ramblin’ Wreck from Georgia Tech.

More wonderful details by Darryl Wiseman.

Yes, I was out in the middle of the street to get this last shot of them. : ) Congrats to Les and Elana! You are an amazing couple. We wish you both the best.

Beautiful work Chris & Katie 🙂

Christina and Brian were married here in Atlanta at the historic Cathedral of Christ the King in midtown. Every detail was gorgeously southern. Her dress was an Anne Barge dress and it was perfectly classic for this occasion. Christina and Brian have a fun story behind their dating relationship and how Brian has always surprised her and treated her like a queen. It was such a joy to see their wedding and love together on this day.

The beautiful florals were by Darryl Wiseman, cake by Mark Lotti of Classic Cheesecakes and Cakes, Amy from A Flawless Event coordinated the day, food was catered by Affairs to Remember, and the photobooth was by Portable Poses.

Brian and his groomsmen put the finishing touches on their tuxes at the luxurious Loews Atlanta. Brian also received a medallion from Christina that read “Forever Yours” on one side and a heart on the other. He kept in his pocket all day.

WOW. Extraordinary! I love the practice dance shot. And so many of the others. Bravo!

In the midst of the a busy local wedding photography season, it was nice to have a little break from the norm to head back to Savannah, Georgia for the second time this year. This time it was for Rajul & Anuj’s Indian wedding! We love Savannah! Not sure what it is. Perhaps the history of this port city, or maybe the Southern charm it has, but everytime we go we have a wonderful time! This time was no exception!

The weekend July 4th, is significant of our country’s independence, a new beginning and a fresh start for this great country of ours. What an appropriate time to have a wedding! A beginning, a fresh start as husband and wife, as one. This first chapter in their life as husband and wife, a new beginning that we have the honor of celebrating with this fun couple.

Savannah_Riverfront_morning

The ceremony & reception took place at the Westin Savannah Resort just across the river on Hutchinson Island. The view from the Westin is a fresh view looking toward Savannah’s historic riverstreet. Can I also mention how much I love working with my wife. It is a joy to have Katie there to capture Rajul getting ready. She is a unobtrusive, yet calming presence among the busyness of the day. As you see, Rajul is in a place where is puts the finishing touches on in complete serenity.

We shared with you all the portraits of Rajul, but we could not resist sharing more with you.

The ceremony was a wonderful celebration of these two coming together as their culture shines through. I love this first show of Anuj as he enters the ceremony. He was escorted by Rajul’s mom and sister to await his bride.

At the end of the ceremony with Rajul & Anuj and their family, they enter into another ceremony. The Vidai is a beautiful exhibit of the bride leaving her parents to be with her husband and is a rather emotional one too.

Once the emotions settled we took Rajul & Anuj away for some photographs around Historic Savannah.

With all Indian weddings there is a good break in between to allow the guest and the bride and groom time to change into their evening wear. The couple then met up with us for a few more photographs before seeing their guests at their reception.

Oh, and how can we forget about the decor! There were some beautiful arrangements along each table but the whole place had a very relaxed atmosphere created by Utopian Events.

As the reception went on the couple had their beautiful first dance.
