I, Chris, had the enjoyment of capturing the fun and love of Whitney and Stephen just this past week. We frequently get asked from our couples, when is a good time to do their engagement session. Usually we try to do it 3 to 6 months before their wedding, but with Whitney and Stephen it was a different story. Their wedding is set for March 27th. That’s right, this upcoming March 27th.

When we scheduled the session, I wanted to make sure that it did not feel rushed but wanted to also get to know them. What I found a was wonderfully fun couple! Sure it was a little chilly but Whitney stuck it out to the very end enjoying every moment. We had the session in the Virginia Highlands neighborhood and if you have not been there it is a must to visit and shop. We ended our time in front of one of their favorite restaurants, La Tavola. It is an Italian restaurant that boasts wonderful dishes, with old world ingredients. We are really looking forward to their wedding and hope you all enjoy the photographs!

It is no secret that we are enamored with Mirabel Press and the wonderful work they produce. We sing their praises from the roof tops for all to hear. When we started dreaming up Rosemary’s birth announcement we knew exactly who we wanted to design and print them. I spent days dreaming them up with Kristen and we were blown away with the finished product. We just love the heart they put into each piece. We hope this will be a priceless item for our sweet Rosemary to always remember the joy her parents shared with those close to them when she arrived.

    Mirabel Press does it again!

Rosemary is three months old today. What a gem we have. We are giddy daily over the joy she has brought to our lives. Each additional roll of fat, bat of the eye and giggle from her tummy melts us to our core. She has found her hands, rolled from her tummy to back and about to go the other way. We are finally sleeping well at night. She could not be a better baby with a dynamic little personality already. Enjoy all the adorableness we call Rosemary.
