At 6 of Four, your wedding or sweet days with your children comprise the integral stories of your lifetime. We focus on capturing them as such.

Our aim is to document the family relationships and moments that have created the bond you are celebrating. We have both come from strong family lines of tradition and heritage, this has formed a keen awareness in us to capture your day in a way in which we would document our own family. We desire to create heirlooms through the photographs for generations of storytelling.

Whitney and Stephen – Engaged

I, Chris, had the enjoyment of capturing the fun and love of Whitney and Stephen just this past week. We frequently get asked from our couples, when is a good time to do their engagement session. Usually we try to do it 3 to 6 months before their wedding, but with Whitney and Stephen it was a different story. Their wedding is set for March 27th. That’s right, this upcoming March 27th.

When we scheduled the session, I wanted to make sure that it did not feel rushed but wanted to also get to know them. What I found a was wonderfully fun couple! Sure it was a little chilly but Whitney stuck it out to the very end enjoying every moment. We had the session in the Virginia Highlands neighborhood and if you have not been there it is a must to visit and shop. We ended our time in front of one of their favorite restaurants, La Tavola. It is an Italian restaurant that boasts wonderful dishes, with old world ingredients. We are really looking forward to their wedding and hope you all enjoy the photographs!
