The wedding of Kyle and Celeste took place in the Gulf Coast area of Florida. This wedding was on the tail end of three weeks of destination wedding all across the US. We came from the extreme Northwest corner, Seattle, from a wedding at Roche Harbor, on the San Juan island, to the Southeast in the area of Carillon Beach. We arrived on Friday to capture engagement portraits of the couple at Alys Beach.
As previously mentioned, Celeste is the publisher for The Atlantan Brides magazine. This local luxury bridal magizine, a Modern Luxury publication, specializes in high-end weddings with a refined and sophisticated flair. We were quite honored when Celeste asked us to cover her wedding. Coming from someone who sees a multitude of quality wedding photographers, this ment so much to Katie and I that she would choose us.
The vendors, or partners, on that day were great to work with and we had a terrific time taking in all the details and moments. To start, the guest all received amazing letterpress invitations (A post just on these to come!) from Luxe Expressions. Also, Ashley Baber did a wonderful job making sure the day was falling into place and was key in helping Celeste in planning each detail.
We hope you enjoy Celeste & Kyle’s story:
Here is the special sixpence in her shoe.

All the floral design was done by Bella Flora, based right there in Carillon Beach, Florida. This flower cuff is especially unique because it is part of the Celeste’s mom’s wedding dress. Have we told you how we love details that have a story behind them? Just timeless!

The ringbearer’s pillow was also made from Celeste’s mom’s wedding dress.

The dress is from Kelly’s Closet and is one stunning dress. This is a Modern Trousseau gown and it was perfect for Celeste.

Ah, gorgeous bridals! The setting for this was just perfect. The greens with the balance of the bouquet help support this quiet moment before the ceremony. Her hair was designed by Steve Hightower who did just a fine job. Also, the jewelry came from the fine, Palas Jewelers.

You can just see the joy radiating from her! The veil accompany the Modern Trousseau dress was designed by Heidi Elnora looked great on her. This is, perhaps, one of our favorite shots. There were so many from the day to choose from.

Oh, yes! And we cannot forget about the dashing groom! The groom was wearing a tuxedo from the fine men’s clothing store in Atlanta, Guffey’s. All day he was making sure everyone was doing ok and personally thanking them for coming.

These are the lovely girls that without them, the guest would not know the bride is coming.

The ceremony took place just west of Carillon, in Santa Rosa at St. Rita Catholic Church. And so the ceremony begins:

Just before they were introduced we took advantage of the gorgeous light.

The reception took place at the downtown area of Carillon Beach. On each table were these gorgeous centerpieces lit with candles that Bella Flora helped create. Underneath them were beautiful linens from Tabletoppers. Also, the cake was created from Cakes by Tanis and enjoyed by all! Celeste even had a wishing tree where guest placed their best regards to the new bride and groom on the branches! They had special mixed drinks for their guest to enjoy! The one below was called the Perfect “Pear.”

The band, Still Cruzin, brought a great selection of music that kept everyone on the floor. Celeste and Kyle’s first dance together as husband and wife!

I love the way they held on to each other as Kyle’s dad gave the blessing.

More receptions details! The catering was provided by Dine by Design too.

I love the joy that Celeste just exhibits during her father-daughter dance. During the whole day that same joy was exhibited throughout.

Just a gorgeous night. The guests enjoyed the balcony while the summer air cooled for the evening at Carillon.

Their exit was on one of the roadways in downtown Carillon. The lighting was natural with lights strewn about between the buildings. The guests were surely seeing how many bubbles they could blow. If you look closely you can see the bride and groom! Congratulations Celeste & Kyle! Here’s to many years together!
