Today was a huge contrast to the cool morning on Friday. It was steamy! Very warm, but we had a great time with an engaged couple. They were so sweet together and I love the images we captured.

Today was a beautiful morning. It was cool enough for a jacket and the dew was covering the ground. As I made my way to Carrollton, I was excited about the pictures that were about to be made. This little family loved having their “family time” turned into their portraits. It was a wonderful time.

Katie,
Wow. You have a gift. I have always felt uncomfortable in front of a camera, but your approach was so natural that I was instantly put at ease. When I looked at the photos posted I was amazed; you truly have an eye for the beautiful and the true. I can’t wait to see the rest! Jeffrey Overdorff
p.s. Great idea with the barn, I’m glad we braved it!

Please don’t hate me for not posting for a few months. I know I should have. I just didn’t feel like anyone was out there looking! 🙂
We are doing good, but busy. The business has a lot going on this fall. I was supposed to go to Chicago and Orlando, but those trips were canceled. Not a good situation. We are still busy with out that though. Chris is working at Williams Printing and then in the evenings working on photography and design. So that is keeping him busy. I’ll be between here and Rome, GA and Atl a lot. Luckily we are right in the middle. I’ll either be on shoots or teaching pottery or leading worship with it. We have several weddings and we are really looking forward to them. They will be beautiful! Very unique.
Other than that, we are getting out there bouldering and climbing and having crazy times with the crazy dog. We are also loving just spending time in Atl. We are both such splits in personality between the mountains and the city. We could live in both places and thrive!
If you read this blog leave me a note in the post, so I know someone is out there ready. I love to get mail. 🙂
