I’m sure you are like us and your days are filled with activities. It can easily take over. We are taking a time inventory. How often do we take time to be still? To be loved? Our spouses and children are always ready to be loved. Do we stop and take the time to just be with them? Rushing to an event or school isn’t the same. Time to sit, to cuddle, to give little kisses. Do we do this enough? Our home is full of love. There is no shortage of laughter from Rosemary and Bergen. So, shouldn’t we make time to be still and be loved. To teach them the value in resting together and instilling a family bond that will carry us through life?

I love this image that Chris documented of me feeding Bergen. An every day situation. Instead of rushing through it, taking the time to relish the moment of this little seven month old baby that has brought us so much joy.

We hope you all had a wonderful holiday season and are enjoying the first days of the new year. May January be filled with simplicity for you and a slowed pace of life. We took some time today to capture our two babes. Rosemary at three years and Bergen at five months. They are starting to interact and it is just melting our hearts. We love these two “to the moon and back.”

Happy New Year from our family to yours!

Lovely work – how I like to approach baby pics myself (only yours are much better obviously!) – capturing little ones in their homes is so much nicer than studio work!
