Summer has proven to be a wonderful time of various weddings and portraiture sessions with ‘lil Bird Collections. We are now about to embark on a line of weddings that will be taking place at one of our favorite venues, The Farm at Old Edwards Inn in October. We started our string of Old Edwards weddings in September with the wedding of Liz and John.
I met Liz and her mom early on and they have been quite a delight to work with. We don’t always have the opportunity to meet our couples before the wedding. In Liz and John’s case, we actually were able to meet, and knew right away that their wedding was going to be special! They had quite a regal affair that incorporated and cream, brown and green colors throughout.
Since the weather has cooled off a bit the Pavilion at the Farm was opened up to allow the gentle mountain breeze to enter in during the reception. This was the first time I was able to see the place with the open windows and it is quite a delight. The guests were enjoying every minute as well.
Liz & John, thank you for the honor of allowing us to be a part of capturing your day. I hope that you two are blessed in your marriage. May it be rich with love and joy in each other.
