Chris and Jenna were married last month in Carillon Beach. We had not been back there since Kyle and Celeste’s wedding last year and it was a welcomed trip to Florida during the beautiful fall months.

Chris and Jenna took time and care in the general feel and design of their wedding. The attention to detail was obvious and the atmosphere of the day truly reflected their love.

We enjoy documenting weddings with such amazing couples as Chris and Jenna and they were definitely what made this day stand apart!

We headed down to Alys Beach that was just a short drive west on the coast. Always the perfect setting for bridals.

It was truly the perfect weather and setting for the wedding.

Rosemary is a Lil’ Bird for Halloween. I know you are surprised by that! ; ) She still acts so much like a bird and we couldn’t help but make that her adorable costume for Halloween. Karen at Green Pomegranate was kind enough to collaborate with Katie on this design. We love how it turned out and can’t wait for a fun fall weekend!

We had the joy and honor of capturing the wedding of Heidi and Ian at a new venue in Atlanta, Summerour. We took Heidi up to an overlook that views the courtyard. I love this series of photographs as Heidi & her dad see each other for the first time. I (Chris) sometimes wonder what feelings will well up when I see my daughter, in her dress, on the day of her wedding.

Summerour is a wonderful place for a wedding. It reminds me a bit of The Foundry at Puritan Mill in that it is an open floor space in an old renovated factory. One difference is in the longer floor plan with arched ceilings. Outside there are mature Rosemary that lives full and fragrant.

    Dear Chris & Katie,

    When the time came for us to pick our photographer, there was no question about who we wanted to capture those precious moments. Not only are you friends but you have a photography style that is completely your own and very much sought after. Each photo is perfect in its own little way and I cant wait to be able to pass these down through our family when the time comes. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for documenting one of the most intimate moments in our lives. We truly appreciate everything.
