A year ago we had just found out that we were going to be parents and were beyond excited as we rushed to the hospital to welcome little miss Mary Anna into the world. I have been present for all of my sister’s children’s births. So this was a very special day. I was also able to whisper to my sister that we were actually both pregnant for one day together….at least that we knew.
Mary Anna has been such a joy this past year. She’s nothing but adorable, cuddly, snuggly goodness. She’s the image of a third child in her laid back manner and just a joy. It might be my position as a third child that connects with her and loves seeing her personality come alive.
To my sweet niece Mary Anna, may your next year be full of curious wonders, few bumps and bruises, lots of giggles from your belly, first steps and love every day. You are a joy to your Uncle and me every day. We love you.
